Use the modal must + the base form of a verb to draw a conclusion and indicate that you think something is probably true

FOR EXAMPLE: 

  • Mr. Jon must have an ulcer 
  • You must keep your hopes up
  • You must keep it a secret

  • You mustn't drive fast. You have to respect traffic signs
  • We mustn't make any noise

MAY AND MIGHT

May is used to indicate that something is likely to be done and might indicates less probability.




FOR EXAMPLE: 
  • Jack may come to eat with us

  • I might call you tomorrow.
